The Charleston Navy Ball Committee ("CNBC") is a private organization comprised of unpaid volunteers only.  The sole purpose of the CNBC is to plan, coordinate and execute the annual Greater Charleston Area Navy Ball ("Navy Ball").  Neither the CNBC or the Navy Ball are official activities of the Department of the Navy or the Department of Defense."
